The Australian Conservation Foundation contacted Demap to provide them with a large wall map of Australia that showed the potential of Australia as a clean energy superpower. Demap sourced all of the thematic map content for the map which included wave and tidal data, wind, solar and hydro data. A clean composition of these key map features was critical to the map’s appeal. The vivid palette used for the solar potential provided a great backdrop for point symbols, and ideal for laying other feature patterns over. The map is surrounded by fact boxes, images and other useful clean energy facts.
