More than 370 million Indigenous peoples live in 90 countries across the globe (United Nations 2014). The Indigenous Media Map (TIMM) records and exhibits the diverse range of Indigenous media produced and distributed globally. Dr Elizabeth Burrows from Griffith University called upon Demap to build an online mapping hub whereby the university and its researchers could crowdsource Indigenous media organisations. Demap was responsible for the design and development of the application.
