Roger Federer is arguably the greatest player ever to play the game of tennis. He does however have one area of weakness that his opponents target, his backhand. In this infographic we explore relationships between his movement to the ball and his error rate on the backhand side. We find that there is a high percentage of failed backhands as a result of Federer moving in a backward direction to the shot.
